2. Census in 1920 in Baltimore, Baltimore, MD. ¹ Owning the home at 2004 31st St. was William Beecher, 72, with wife Elmira C., 66. Also with them: daughter Nellie C. Robertson, 42, widow; and George Walter Robertson, grandchild, 16; and Myra C. Robertson, grandchild, 13. Everyone and their parents were born in Maryland, except William's parents were from Pennsylvania. William worked as a clerk in an office.

3. Census in 1930 in Baltimore, Baltimore, MD. ⁵ The 1930 census recorded at 312 Carville Avenue: Nellie Robertson, widow, 55, living with son George W. Robertson, buyer dairy production, 36; daughter-in-law Mary Robertson, 23; daughter Charlotte Robertson, 22; and Nellie's mother Almyria Bucher [indexed wrong, should be Beecher, handwritten e's look like a u], widow, 77. Everyone and their parents were born in Maryland except Mary's mother in Virginia.

4. Census in 1940 in Baltimore, Baltimore, MD. ⁶ The 1940 census recorded renting at 3129 North Avenue: George Bangs, extra caller at railroad station, 32, living with wife Charlotte, 36; and mother-in-law Nellie C. Robinson, widowed, 65. Everyone was born in Maryland and lived in the same house in 1935.
