William's parents and Myra's father were from Pennsylvania, her mother from Virginia. Also in their home is Edward H. Yates, brother in law, 39, a clerk born in South Carolina of parents from same; and sister in law Mary E. Yates, 29, and brother in law Howard Swain, 31, both were born in Maryland from father from PA and mother from VA. Also, Charles Gregg, nephew, 8, born in Maryland of parents from same. 2. Census in 1900 in Baltimore, Baltimore, MD. 4 Renting at 308 Euclid was William Beecher, 53, born Mar 1847, married for 27 years to Almira, 47, born Feb 1853. She had birthed 3 children, 2 still alive: Nellie C., 25, born Mar 1875; and Gordon W., 23, born Mar 1877. Everyone was born in Maryland. William's parents and Alvina's father were from Pennsylvania, her mother from Virginia. William was employed as a deputy clerk; his son William was an architectural draftsman. 3. Newspaper: Baltimore Sun: Robertson-Beecher, 16 Oct 1902, Baltimore, Baltimore, MD. 2 A beautiful wedding which took place last evening at 6 o'clock in the Ascension Protestant Episcopal Church was that of Miss Nellie Charlotte Beecher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Newton Beecher of Augusta Place, and Mr. George Walter Robertson, son of Mrs. Margaret Dashiell and the late Mr. Henry Hamilton Robertson, of Princess Anne, Md. The church was artistically decorated with palms and white and pink chrysanthemums, and nupital music was renedered during the assembling of the guests by the organist of the church. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Robert S. Coupland, rector of the church, assisted by the Rev. Oliver H. Murphy, of St. Mary's Church, Aquasco, Md., uncle of the groom. The bride entered the church with her father, by whom she was given away, and was met on the steps of the sanctuary by the groom, attended by Mr. Harry Hugh Robertson, his brother, of Clalrton, Pa., as best man. The bride was attired in an exquisite gown of white satin, trimmed with duchess and point lace and chiffon caught with pearl showers, a tulle veil caught with orange blossoms extending to the edge of the trained gown. She carried a shower bouquet of Bride roses and her or-uaments were diamonds. The maid of honor. Miss M. Gertrude Robertson, wore a beutlful gown of pink eolian, trimmed with lace and chiffon, over pink taffeta, and carried Bridesmaid roses tied with pink ribbon. The bridesmaids were Miss Julia G. Reld, Miss Mary E. Klrkman. Miss Ethel K. Robertson and Miss Helen M. Klrkman. All wore gowns of white organdy, trimmed with lace and white ribbons, over white taffeta and carried clusters of white chrysanthemums tied with white ribbon. The flower girl was little Miss Flora M. Feast, who wore a gown of white lace and blue ribbons over blue taffeta and carried a basket of Bridesmaid roses tied with blue ribbon. The ushers were Mr. William Gordon Bucher, brother of the bride; Dr. Alfred T. Gundry, Mr. William J. Fitzone, Mr. J. Tabb Robertson, Mr. Joseph Blake, Jr., and Mr. Chevls P. Dungan, of Philadelphia. They' wore dress suits with white vests, gloves and ties, and boutonnleres of Bride roses. The wedding was followed by a reception at the residence of the bride's parents, Augusta Place, Euclid avenue, for the bridal party and relatives. The presents were beautiful and numerous. Mr. and Mrs. Robertson left during the evening for a Northern wedding journey. The bride's golng-away gown was cameo graw broadcloth, with hat and gloves to match. 4. Robertson, 6 and granddaughter Myra C. Robertson, 3. Everyone was born in Maryland. 5. Census in 1920 in Baltimore, Baltimore, MD. 13 Owning the home at 2004 31st St. was William Beecher, 72, with wife Elmira C., 66. Also with them: daughter Nellie C. Robertson, 42, widow; and George Walter Robertson, grandchild, 16; and Myra C. Robertson, grandchild, 13. Everyone and their parents were born in Maryland, except William's parents were from Pennsylvania. William worked as a clerk in an office. 6. Newspaper: Baltimore Sun: Mrs. George W.
