9. Obituary: Gazette and Daily: Funeral of George H. Seacrist on 11 Jul 1942 in York, York, PA. 6 Funeral services for George H. Seacrist, who died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Ruch, St. Petersburg, Flas, were held yesterday afternoon from the home of his nephew, Clyde S. Buckingham, 216 South Duke street. Pallbearers were: Elwood Seacrist, Charles Brueggeman, A. H. Shettel, J. W. Reidel, Roy Spangler and Clyde S. Buckingham.
Rev. Robert Thena, pastor of Heidelberg Reformed church, officiated. Interment was in Greenmount cemetery.
Mr. Seacrist was a former resident and businessman of this city, having been associated with his brothers in the firm Jacob Seacrist and Sons, building contractors. For the last 15 years he has been living retired with his daughter in St. Petersburg.
