1. Obituary: in Dec 1969. Mrs. Sadie Bucher, a long time resident of the Keota-New Raymer communities, died Sunday, December 14, 1969 at the Bonell Retirement Community, where she had resided since October 21, 1967. She was 76.
Born in Washta, Iowa, on July 4 [Error: Birth Certificate says July 3] 1893, she was reared in Iowa and Nebraska, and came to Colorado in 1909, and settled with her parents on a homestead six miles south of Keota, where she lived until 1959 when she moved to Greeley. She was married to Thomas O. Bucher in Greeley on November 26, 1913. He died January 2, 1961.
Mrs. Bucher was a member of the Christian Church at New Raymer.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas M. Bucher of Keota, L.D. Bucher of Everett, Washington, and Ortis Bucher of DeBeque; a daughter, Mrs Zella Joyce of Laramie, WY; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Mrs Maggie Tittle of Salem, ORE.

Sadie married Thomas Oren Bucher, son of Thomas Wesley Bucher and Lucinda K. Bell, on 26 Nov 1913 in Greeley, Weld, CO.¹ (Thomas Oren Bucher was born on 2 Jun 1884 in Gravity, Taylor, IA ³ and died on 2 Jan 1961 in Greeley, Weld, CO.)

It also states that Thomas was previously married and that his wife was deceased. O. V. Bucher and John F. Redman were witnesses.
