1. Census in 1870 in Prairie Twp., Holmes, OH. ² Thomas Bucher, farmer, 30, was living with wife Lucinda, 28; Odbert, 5; Catherine, 3; and Virginia, 1. Everyone was born in Ohio. The post office was Millersburg.

2. Census in 1880 in Center Twp., Ottawa, KS. ³ Thos. Bucher, farmer, 40, is living with wife Lucinda, 38; Odbert, 14; daughter C. A., 12; Virginia, 10; Etta, 8; William, 6; Minnie, 4; Lucy, 2; Maud, 1; and Uncle Joseph, 78. Everyone and their parents were born in Ohio, except Maud was born in Kansas, and Joseph and his parents in Maryland.

3. Obituary: in 1958. Catherine Morrison's Funeral Wednesday.
Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Ann Morrison of 805 Sixth street will be held at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Adamson Memorial chapel, with interment at Linn Grove.
Mrs. Morrison, 91, died Friday night at Weld County General hospital. She was born Oct 16, 1866 at Cleveland, Ohio and moved with her parents in a covered wagon to Iowa when she was a child. She later lived in Kansas and Prairie Grove, Ark., where she met her husband, Walter Lee Morrison. They were married in 1889.
They homesteaded at Keota in 1909 and lived there until 1913 when they returned to Arkansas. The Morrisons went to Iowa in 1932. In Sept 1950, she returned to Colorado, living at Yuma for a brief time befroe moving to Greeley, Morrison died in 1936.
Mrs. Morrison was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church of Prarie Grove, Ark.
She is survived by four sons, Orville O. Morrison of Greeley, J. Macy Morrison of Creston, Iowa, Roy Morrison of Yuma and L. D. Morrison of Cheyenne; two daughters, Mrs. Zoe Morley of Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs Opha Morrow of Piedmont, Calif.
Also surviving are a brother, Thomas O. Bucher of Keota; four sisters, Mrs. Hugh Buchanan of Lenox, Iowa and Mrs. Harry Edward, Mrs. Will Miller and Mrs. Ira Jewell, all of Webb City, MO.; 15 grandchildren; nine great granchildren and several nieces and nephews."

Catherine married D. Walter Lee Morrison on 29 Dec 1889 in Prairie Grove, Washington, AR. (D. Walter Lee Morrison was born about 23 Apr 1863, died on 16 Oct 1936 in Gravity, Taylor, IA and was buried in Washington Twp.: Washington Cemetery, Taylor, IA.)
