1. Obituary: Orville Oliver Morrison, 90, of Loveland, died May 13, 1996, at McKee Medical Center. He was born June 25, 1905, in Prairie Grove, Ark., to D. Walter Lee Morrison and Catherine Ann Bucher Morrison. Mr. Morrison married Margaret L. Kent, Feb 7, 1953 in Brush. He served in the U.S. Army 79th Infantry Division in the European Theater during World War II, and received the Purple Heart. Mr. Morrison was past commander of the Disabled American Veterans Post 8 in Greeley. He worked at the Johnstown G. W. Sugar Factory for nine years. Before that he worked at Linn Grove Cemetery in Greeley for nine years. He enjoyed gardening, yard work and flowers. Mr. Morrison is survived by his wife, a son, Dennis Morrison of Loveland; a sister, Opha Morrow and husband Ord of Lincoln, Neb.; several neices, nephews, and cousins, brother in law, Orville Kent and wife Thelma of Clarinda, Iowa; and many friends. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Viewing will be at the Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home from 8 am Thursday until the service at 2 pm and following the service. Services Thursday will be at the Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Chapel. Following the final viewing, burial will be at /Sunset Memeorial Gardens in Greeley, with the Rev Howard Hine officiating. Military graveside honors will be conducted by Pioneer Post 2121 of Greeley. Contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
