George, third son of George and Mary (Sterrett) Ridenour. Occupation, a farmer and blacksmith. He married Sarah Staley in May, 1854. They were the parents of four children: Lewis G., born Sept. 25, 1855; Henry s., born Jan. 1, 1857; Reuben M., born Nov. 14, 1858; John F., born Dec. 2, 1860.
Lewis G., oldest son of George and Sarah Ridenour, living at Knox, Ind. Occupation, a railroader.
Henry S., second son of George and Sarah Ridenour, is a
farmer, living at Anthony, Kansas. He married Mary C. Vangilder, Aug. 8, 1888. They have three children; Maud Amy, John, Grace.
Reuben M., third son of George and Sarah Ridenour, is a farmer, living at Bellings, Oklahoma. He married Ida Schorm, Dec, 1880. They have four children: Ramond Defoe, born Dec. 31, 1882; James Henry; Goldie M., born May, 1888; Ruby, born Oct., 1898.

George married Sarah Staley on 18 May 1854 in , Franklin, OH. (Sarah Staley was born on 25 Dec 1831 in Schaefferstown, Lebanon, PA,⁵ died on 14 May 1917 in Brems, Starke, IN ^{6 7} and was buried on 16 May 1917 in Arkansas City: Hope Cemetery, Cowley, KS ⁶.)
