8. Newspaper: Stebuen Republican: death of Thomas Segner, 28 Nov 1882, Angola, Steuben, IN. 2 "Waterloo: Thomas Segner, an old citizen of this place, died suddenly last Thursday. He had been somewhat indisposed for several days, but not sufficiently as to prevent his working at his trade, tailoring. After dinner he seated himself at his sewing machine and worked for a while. He then went to the stove, complaining of feeling cold, and while standing there was heard to exclaim "My God!" and immediately sank down on the floor lifeless."
