Born in Lancaster and a lifelong area resident, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Nettie Stiegleman Beecher and wife of the late Charles M. Myers, who passed away in April 1975.

A homemaker, Elnora enjoyed embroidery and reading, and especially loved being with her grand and great grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Norah E., (John), Schmidt of Middletown, Linda A., (James), Boice of New Providence, Cathy J., (Jon), Wright of Lancaster and Lester L. Myers of Orange Park, FL, also her 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Charles H. and Edward E. Myers, her daughter Carolyn A. Hubb and her sisters, Edith C. Wenger and Stella Denlinger.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Life Celebration Service from Fred F. Groff Inc., 234 W. Orange St., Lancaster, PA, on Wednesday at 11:30 AM. Interment will be held at Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Groff's on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until the time of services. If desired, memorials may be sent in Elnora's memory to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603-9983.
