Chiques Rd., Manheim, died December 13, 2005 at her residence, after a brief illness. She was the wife of Raymond L. Wenger, they celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary April 26, 2005. Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late Norman and Nettie Mae Steigelman Beecher. Edith was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her family and friends. Edith was a former member of Chiques United Methodist Church, Mount Joy. Surviving in addition to her husband are the children, Judith, wife of Robert Brandt of Manheim, Lloyd, husband of Bonnie Wenger of Columbia, Nancy, wife of Jack Eitnier of Lititz, John, husband of Penny Wenger of Manheim and Ruth, wife of J. Robert Musser, Jr. of Lancaster; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great- granddaughters and a sister, Lenora Myers of Lancaster. Edith was also preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Denlinger. Relativities and friends are respectively invited to attend her funeral on Friday December 16, 2005 at 11 AM from the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St., Mount Joy, with Rev. Paul Shumate officiating. There will be a public viewing from 10 AM Friday until the time of the service. Interment in Hershey Mennonite Cemetery, Kinzer. The Heilig Funeral Home Memories Of A Lifetime Funeral Home Mount Joy, PA in charge of arrangements.
