His real estate was worth $10,000 and personal estate $4,000, indicating he had inherited wealth since his 1860 census.

Adda married John H. Beecher, son of Sylvester Beecher and Betsy Bushnell. (John H. Beecher was born on 21 Jun 1841 in Shalersville Twp., Portage, OH ².)
