Bucher, 33, of Bendersville, is a patient in the Hanover General hospital with a possible fracture of the skull and multiple lacerations of the body as a result of a one-car accident on the York-Hanover road, three miles east of Hanover, Saturday evening at 9:10 o'clock.

A sedan operated by Bucher left the York-Hanover road at the junction of the Jacobs Mill road and collided with a tree. The machine was demolished.

Bucher was removed to the Hanover General hospital by Edward Kopp Sterner, of Baltimore.

Thomas Lapresti, Hanover R. 4, traveling east on the York road, was about to make a left turn into the main road. Looking into his mirror he saw the Bucher car approaching at a rapid rate of speed. He told police that he drew his machine to the side of the road and waited for Bucher to pass. As Bucher passed he lost control and the machine struck a tree.

At a late hour Sunday night Bucher had not regained consciousness. X-ray pictures were being made to definitely determine the extent of the injuries.

Privates C. F. Kreamer and C. W. Lutton, of the York substation of the motor police, conducted an investigation of the accident.

Keller married Connie Hall.
