Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming wedding of Nina Marie Beacher and Aaron Edward Norakus, both of Philadelphia. The bride-elect is the daughter of John and Marie Beacher of Northampton. She is the granddaughter of the late George and Victoria Beacher and the late Edward and Anna Jenkins, both of Shenandoah. Nina is a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She is employed by O'Neill Properties Group of King of Prussia as a real estate sales manager. The prospective groom is the son of Linda Dominick of Plains and Edward J. Norakus of Hanover Township. He is the grandson of Marie J. Dominick of Plains Township and the late Anso Dominick and the late Peter and Thelma Norakus of Wilkes-Barre. Aaron is a graduate of Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He is employed by Bayer Healthcare as a regional area sales manager. The couple will exchange vows Sept 9, 2006, in Catasauqua at St. Andrew's Church.

Norakus, Hanover Township. He is the grandson of Marie J. Dominick, Plains Township, the late Anso Dominick, and the late Peter and Thelma Norakus. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose Jaclyn Jenkins, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Frack, Joy Harris, Jolene Cingiser, Rachel Carenzo and Jaclyn Kristie. Corey Crawford served as best man. Ushers were Michael Harris, Angel Irizzary, Brian Kean, Nathaniel Greenwald, and Jacob Beacher. Scriptural readings were given by Charlotte Dominick, George Michael Beacher, Gregory and Amy Taylor. The bride was honored with showers hosted by Charlotte Dominick, Amy Taylor and Joy Harris at Pazzo's and by Marie Beacher, Ann Pascavage and bridesmaids at the Iron Lakes Country Club. A reception was held at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem as was a Sunday Brunch hosted by John and Marie Beacher and Linda Dominick. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by Linda Dominick and Carolyn and Edward Norakus at The Edges Restaurant. The bride is employed by O'Neill Properties Group as a real estate sales manager. The groom is employed by CCS Medical as a regional sales director. Following a wedding trip to Curacao, the couple reside in Philadelphia.
