J. and Victoria's parents were born in Poland.

2. Census in 1940 in Shenandoah, Schuylkill, PA. 13 The 1940 census recorded owning a $7000 home at 312 Oak Street: Jacob Twardzik, bottler, 52, living with wife Victoria, 49; and daughter Victoria Jr., 18. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania.

3. Newspaper: Evening Herald: Twardzik-Beacher Webbing, 26 Dec 1944, Shenandoah, Schuylkill, PA. 14 One of Shenandoah's most prominent young women, Victoria J. Twardzik, and a veteran of many Pacific battles, Cpl. George M. Beacher, U.S.M.C., of Shenandoah, were united in marriage at St. Stanislaus Church this afternoon. Rev. Stephen J. Zmich, pastor of the church, officiated. The bride, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. J. J. Twardzik, 312 West Oak street, was attired in a lovely wedding gown with a white taffeta top and net skirt. Her veil, a bonnet type with pearls, matched her gown and she carried a white carnation atop a white prayer book to complete the attire.
She was given in marriage by her father. The matron of honor, Mrs. Robert Dunlap, a sister of the bride, was dressed in a beautiful gown fashioned along. the same lines as the bride's. She wore an ice-blue gown with a tafetta top and a net skirt and a blue veil to match. She carried light pink carnations to complete her attire. Cpl. Beacher, the bridegroom, was attired in his U. S. Marine dress uniform. His interests were attended by Pfc. Thomas Dougherty, U.S.M.C., of Centralia, Marine "buddy" who had been with the bridegroom in his many Pacific theatre campaigns.
Mrs. Beacher is a graduate of the Shenandoah Annunciation High School, class of 1939, while her husband is a J. W. Cooper High School alumnus and prior to his entrance into the armed forces, was employed at the Maple Hill Colliery.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neumeister, 524 East Centre street, town, and has a total of 27 months overseas duty to his credit, engaging in battles at Saipan, Guam, and Guadacanal. He also has been in New Zealand and Australia. Professor Martz was at the organ and Mrs. Rice rendered several selections.
After the ceremony a reception for members of the immediate families was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Twardzik.
The couple will leave this evening for a honeymoon at Atlantic City, N.J., after which Cptl Beacher will return to his present base at the Marine Barracks, Philadelphia' Navy Yard.

Miss Victoria Twardzik and Cpl. George M. Beacher, U. S. M. C., popular Shenandoah couple, were united in marriage in St. Stanislaus R. C. church, Shenandoah, yesterday afternoon, by the pastor, the Rev. Stephen J. Zmich.
The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Twardzik, of Shenandoah, was attended by her sister, Mrs. Robert Dunlap, as matron of honor. The best man was Pfc. Thomas Dougherty, U. S. M. C., of Centralia.
The bridegroom, son of Mrs. Fred Neumeister, of Shenandoah, served 27 months in the South Pacific being stationed on Guadalcanal, Saipan, Guam and in New Zealand and Australia. He was employed at Maple Hill colliery before entering the service. At present he is stationed at the Marine Barracks at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. A reception followed the ceremony at home of the bride's parents, after which the couple lefft for a honeymoon in Atlantic City.

Obituary: Republican & Evening News: obituary of Victoria Beacher on 5 Sep 2002 in Pottsville, Schuylkill, PA. 18 Victoria ' "Tushie" Beacher, Airport Road, Gordon, formerly Tuesday of afternoon Shenandoah, at died home of her daughter, with whom she resided. Born in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Victoria Baraniak Twardzik. She was a 1939 graduate of Shenandoah Catholic High School. She was retired from the local garment industry. She was a member of Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Shenandoah, and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George "Buddy," in 1969; a brother, Henry Twardzik. Surviving are three sons, John, Allentown, Joseph, Shenandoah, and Michael, Harrisburg; two daughters, Elaine Harkins, at home, and Barbara Eiche, Frackville; two sisters, Mary Lucas, Mississippi, and Felecia Dunlap, Bear Creek Lakes; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday from Annunciation BVM Church. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
