It is Thought Young Claud Smith Will Be.
Claud I. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elias Smith, was severly burned about the face and head on Wednesday afternoon at the Central works of the American iron and steel manufacturing company, and it is now feared that he will be disfigured for life. Calvin Smith, a brother, was also slightly burned but is improving rapidly. The accident was caused by carelessness and neglect in not shutting off the blast of the furnance at the proper time.

Mr. and Mrs. Elias Smith, of 443 North Sixth street, spent a joyous Easter with their children and grand-children, the occasion being a family reunion. Not in twenty-five years had all the children and their children been at home at the same time and Sunday was a happy one for all. Besides Mr. and Mrs. Smith there were present: Mr. and Mrs. H. C.
