Marriage -- A quiet wedding took place in First M. E. church when Miss Helen Whitman Beecher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Beecher, 58 West Main street, South Pottstown, was united in marriage to William Andrew Dillman, son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. S. Dillman, 782 Beech street. The cetemony was performed by the Rev. George F. Conner, pastor. Following the wedding ceremony, a reception took place at the Dillman residence. The new Mrs. Dillman formerly was employed at the Feroe Box factory. Mr. Dillman, well known athlete, was one of the original members of the Midget Five, Pottstown basketball team.

Helen (Beecher) Dillman, 96, of Royersford, formerly of Pottstown, widow of William A. Dillman, died Monday at Parkhouse Providence Point, Royersford

Born in South Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Emma L. (Whitman) Beecher and William A. Beecher. She was a devoted wife and homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pottstown. She was a member of the Susanna Circle, Asbury Sunday School Class, Nifty Fifty Senior Citizens, Grace Lutheran Senior Center, and Grace Lutheran Neighborhood Fellowship.

She is survived by a son William L. husband of Edith A. Dillman, Sr., Pottstown; a daughter Joan D. wife of Kenneth L. Landis, Pottstown; six grandchildren Deborah E. wife of Neal Cressman, Douglassville, William L, husband of Holly Dillman, Jr., Spring City, David A. husband of Kathleen Dillman, Birdsboro, Kendra wife of Daniel Waters, Gilbertsville, Kerry wife of Carson Kline, Pottstown, Kenneth L. husband of Nancy Landis, Jr., Douglassville; twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Judith A. Dillman.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Friday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Karen Creasy. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
