84 of Dover and formerly of Sugarcreek died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at New Dawn Nursing Home in Dover following a period of declining health. She was born February 21, 1933 in Dover to the late Leonard and Ethel (Kugler) McClanahan Sr. She had worked at the Times-Reporter, Belden

Brick and at Miller Studio. She had attended NewPointe Community Church in Dover and was a member of the New Philadelphia VFW and the Tuscarawas County Senior Center. She was first married to James Zahner who died in 1971 and she the married Ramon Renner who died on August 20, 1989.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy (Tom) Dill of Columbus and Linda (Steve) Immel of Sugarcreek; daughter-in- law Angie, Zahner of Dover; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and five step children. In addition to her parents and her two husbands, she is preceded in death by her two sons, John Zahner and William Zahner; her brother, Leonard McClanahan Jr.; and her sister, Doris Beitzel.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Pastor Chad Stutzman officiating. Burial will be East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek prior to services.
