Tuesday after a month's illness at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Risser, near Lititz. His wife, Mrs. Ellen Buchen, died a year ago. He was a member of the Bretheren Church at Akron. Surviving are five children: Edna, wife of Jacob Risser, near Lititz; Minnie, wife of Charles Smith, Robesonia; Charles Buchen, Akron; Ella, wife of Samuel Foltz, Ephrata; Seaman Second class Jacob Buchen, Camp Endicott, RI; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; also a brother and three sisters; Aaron Buchen, Farmersville; Annie, wife of Samuel Radcliffe, Lancaster; Mrs. Lizzie Martin, near Akron; and Miss Amelia Buchen, near Akron. Martin married Ellen Catherine Wolf on 30 Sep 1888 in , Lancaster, PA.1 (Ellen Catherine Wolf was born on 11 Jun 1870 in Akron, Lancaster, PA,4 5 died on 25 Oct 1943 in Akron, Lancaster, PA 4 5 and was buried in Ephrata: Wolf's Cemetery, Lancaster, PA 4.) |
