2. Obituary: Lancaster Daily Intelligencer on 16 Nov 1932 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. ⁴ Mrs. Magdalena Horst (Martin) Buchen, eighty-nine, widow of Jacob B. Buchen, died of the infirmities of age Turesday at 4:30 a.m. at her home near Good's Crossing, Ephrata township. She was a member of the Groffdale Mennonite church for the past seventy-one years. Surrviving are the following children: Martin, of Akron; Aaron, of Farmersville; Fannie, wife of Milton Hufford, and Anna, wife of Samuel Radcliffe, both of Lancaster; Elizabeth, wife of Menno B. Martin, Ephrata RD4; and Amelia, at home. Nineteeen grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren also survive, besides a brother, Joseph W. Martin,and a sister, Susan H. Martin, both of Shippensburg. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the home with further services at 2 p.m. at the Groffdale Mennonite Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
