According to the records of genealogist Bruce F. Beacher gathered circa 1970 from family members, her mother had 4 children by her marriage to William Derrick, then in 1883 married William Beacher. Daisy's marriage license states Daisy May Beacher was born in Shenandoah on 30 Sep 1880 and resided in 1900 at Waste House Run, which is now the site of the Waste House Run reservoir that appears on maps. The only Beacher family in 1900 residing near there in Mahanoy Township was William and Priscilla Beacher. Daisy is buried in the Odd Fellows cemetery where William and Priscilla are buried.
