Wearing a white slipper satin gown, Kathy Loyd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. McGhlome Loyd of Wanatah, became the bride of Bruce Beecher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Beecher of La Crosse. The Rev. John Shortle conducted the evening ceremony Oct. 14 at LaCrosse United Methodist Church. The bride's ankle-length gown featured a four-tiered skirt gathered at the waistline, a square neckline and full-length sleeves. Maid of honor was the bride's sister Rhonda Campbell. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister Julie Beecher, the bride's cousin Donna Knapp and Andrea Huhnke. Best man was the groom's brother Terry Beecher. Groomsmen were Jeff Bailey, Bill Bailey, Doug Romine, Dave Bailey and Jim Kenyon. A reception followed the ceremony at the Wanatah American Legion Hall. The bride Is employed at Wickes Lumber in Wanatah. Her husband works for Duane Bailey Trucking Co. Following a honeymoon to Hawaii, the newlyweds are residing in Wanatah.
