Mrs. Henry C. Snyder died at her home in Allentown after suffering for some time from blood poisoning which developed after a carbuncle had formed.

The deceased lady was well known in town having visited here several times and was the mother of Mrs. B. F. Beacher, Jr., of North Main street and a sister of Mrs. Oscar Kehler, formerly of town, now at Allentown.

The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock.

Henry C. Snyder (2-5) a grandson of Mary Geist-Eisenhart (11-3) was born at Leck Kill, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania on November 21, 1857 and died in Allentown, Lehigh County on June 5, 1940. He is buried in the Highland cemetery in Allentown and a tombstone marks his grave. He was an engineer and had the public school education. He married Lizzie M. Smith-Snyder (2-5) on December 21, 1878 and they had eight
children.
