Richard H. Beecher, 78, of 914 Five Chop Road, Orangeburg, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at The Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held in one year at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. The Rev. Charles Bennett and close friends were at his bedside throughout his hospital stay. Mr. Beecher moved to Orangeburg in 1977. He retired from Ambler Industries, Inc. At his request, his body will be donated for medical research at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. Survivors includes close friends.
