Miss Norma Anna Cordone of the Women's Air Force, stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany, and the daughter of Mrs. Julia Cordone of 74 Canal Street, Quincy, was married on June 8 to S Sgt. Benjamin Franklin Woomer USAF, also stationed in Wiesbaden. He is the son of Mrs. Anna C. Woomer of Girard, Ohio.
Chaplain John J. Castellani officiated at the marriage ceremony in the Lindsey Chapel, Lindsey Air Force Base, Wiesbaden.
The bride was given in marriage by Major William H. Miller of Tennessee. Miss Grace V. Boyle of Brighton was the maid of honor. Miss Barbara Kissel of Chicago, Ill., was the bridesmaid.
Airman Manfred Buettner of Mission City, Ind., was best man and Airman Estle L. Wesley of Louisville, Ind., was the usher.
A reception was held at the Rocker Club. After a wedding trip to Spain, Italy, France and Bavaria, the couple will live in Wiesbaden, Germany.
The bride graduated from Quincy High School. Sergeant Woomer is a graduate of Girard High School, Ohio.

BROCKTON
Benjamin F. Woomer Jr., 64, of Brockton, a retired letter carrier and postal clerk, died Tuesday at the Brockton Veterans Administration Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Woomer worked 21 years for the U.S. Postal Service before retiring in 1991.
He was a member of the Brockton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and a former member of the Standish Sportsmen's Club in East Bridgewater. He was an avid outdoorsman, a karate enthusiast, and enjoyed oil painting.
Mr. Woomer served in the Army in 1948 for a year before joining the Air Force, which he served until 1970. He was a veteran of the Vietnam and Korean Wars.
A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Mr. Woomer lived 23 years in Brockton. He is survived by his wife, Norma (Cordone) Woomer; a son, Navy Chief Petty Officer Steven Woomer of St. Mary's, Ga.; five daughters, Julie Nihan of Hanson, Cindy Bunting and June Burge, both of Jacksonville, Fla., Lisa Woomer and Suzanne Woomer, both of Brockton; three sisters, Sarah Jane Colburn, Evelyn Lamancusa, and Leora Catherine Marsh, all of Vienna, Ohio; nine grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in St. Edward's Church.
Visiting is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
