Miss Hazel Horrox, daughter of Mr. and Mra. Alfred Horrox, of West Washington avenue, today received word that she had been admitted as a probationer in the School of NursIng at the Lebanon hospital, New York City. She will enter upon her duties June 15th. Miss Horrox has many friends who wish her success in the undertaking.

A pretty wedding took place at two o'clock this afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Miller, No. 1528 S. Fifty-third street, Philadelphia, when their son, Harry E. Miller. and Miss Hazel Horrox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Horrox, No. 310 North Jardin street, town, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. The ceremony was performed in the parlor of the home, which was beautifully decorated with autumn leaves and flowers, and was witnessed by many relatives and friends of the contracting parties.
The bridal party entered the room to the strains of a wedding march rendered by Miss Ruth Swanger, of Moore. Following the ceremony, a delightful solo was rendered by Miss Helen Conalian, of Chester.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Jones, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church. The bride was attired in fawn colored satin gown and carried pink and white roses. She made a beautiful appearance. The maid of honor, Miss Mildred Godber, friend of the bride and a former resident of town, wore a white satin. gown and carried an armful of pink and white. roses. Miss Harriett E. Miller, a sister of the bridegroom, was ring bearer and wore a white satin dress and carried a fawn satin pillow, daintily draped with pink rosebuds, in which the ring laid.
The bridegroom was attended by Harold Horrox, of Allentown, a brother of the bride. Following the ceremony dinner was served, following which Mr. and Mrs. Miller left for Washington. D. C. on a wedding tour and on their return will make their home with the groom's parents.
The bride has been employed as a stenographer at Eddystone, and is one of Shenandoah's most winsome young women. Mr. Miller is an employee of the Baldwin locomotive works and is known in town, having visited here on several occasions. The best wishes of a host of friends are extended to them for a happy married life.
Among the guests in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Horrox and son, Albert, town; Mr. and Mrs. George Beacher, New Castle; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Beacher, Mr. and Mrs. Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Moyer, Pottsville; Mr. and Mrs. John Griffin, St. Clair.

Miss Hazel Horrox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Horrox, of town, and Harry E. Miller, of Phila., were married yesterday afternoon at the home of the grooms parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Miller, No. 1528 S. Fifty-Third St. A number of relatives from town and vicinity attended the wedding.
