Cynthiana Man Dies in Lexington Hospital After Illness of Three Weeks; Funerral Today
CYNTHIANA, Ky., July 8 - Carl Musser, 66, died at St. Joseph's hospital in Lexington near midnight Wednesday after a threeweeks' illness. He was born in Cynthiana November 18, 1870, and was the son of the late Caleb and Laura Cook Musser. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Parks Musser; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Cobb; two grandsons, Franklin and Carl Musser Cobb, and a sister, Mrs. A. J. Griffie, of Lexington.
The body was removed here to the Smith-Rees home and was taken to the residence on Pleasant street this afternoon. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Episcopal church, the Rev. George Ralph Madson officiating. Burial will be in Battle Grove cemetery.
Pallbearers will be H. D. Ayres, Wade H. Lail, George Dickey, Houston Renaker, Carl, Ewalt. and Claude McDowell.
