Frederick Jeremiah Hepner ¹

1. Obituary: The Daily Item on 22 Oct 1982 in Sunbury, Northumberland, PA. ¹ SUNBURY - Frederick J. Hepner, 80, of 604 N. Fifth St., died Thursday in the Sunbury Community Hospital. Born in Herndon, April 3, 1902, he son of the late Jerimiah and Anna Starr Hepner.
His wife, the former Dorothy Hulsizer, died in 1960.
Mr. Hepner was a retired employee of the Faylor-Middlecreek, Inc. Winfield, and at one time owned his own well drilling company. He was a life member of the Goodwill Hose Company, Sunbury.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Shirley M. Bucher of Sunbury RD2; one grandchild; four great-grandchildren; a brother, George of Selinsgrove; and four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Muirhead, Mrs. Lena Long, and Mrs. Laura Fels, all of Herndon, and Mrs. Mary Hummel of Trevorton. A son, Charles, died before him.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, Sunbury.
Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. Friends may call in the funeral home Sunday evening.

Frederick married Dorothy A. Hulsizer. (Dorothy A. Hulsizer was born on 22 Jul 1909 in Northumberland, Northumberland, PA,² died on 24 Jul 1980 in Sunbury, Northumberland, PA ² and was buried on 28 Jul 1980 in Stonington: Northumberland Memorial Park, Northumberland, PA ².)
