!ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Source-1 p. 186 #1725 In 1850 John S. was living next door to Mary Booher, widow of Frederick. John was enumerated twice in this census. Source-3 Gracie Lou Booher Shepherd, Los Angeles CA 1956 - stated that he had also lived in Bedford Co. VA; Source-3 Mrs. Shepherd says that the Boohers were French but stayed in Holland long enough to change the pronunciation of the name. John S. Booher moved to Texas in 1873. He went first to Lamar Co., then to Hood Co. and finally to Somervell.
