!BIRTH: Sources-1, 2, and 3 for date. George was probably born in 1843, if not he arrived a little soon after his parents marriage. Source-2 for birthplace as given. Mrs. Shepard said in another place that he was born in Sullivan Co. TN. Source-3 has birthplace as Clear Branch, Washington Co. VA which seems more likely.

George married Nannie Denicia Fuller on 24 Feb 1881 in Glen Rose, Somervell, TX. (Nannie Denicia Fuller was born on 15 Feb 1858 in Sugar Valley, Gordon, GA, died on 8 Mar 1951 in Glen Rose, Somervell, TX and was buried in Squaw Creek Cemetery, Somervell, TX.)
