Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Beeker and sons Wilson and George Jr., and Mrs. Frank Hubler returned home on Wednesday of last week from an extended motor trip to Lexington, North Carolina, going and returning via the Cumberland Valley, Hagerstown, Md., the Shenandoah Valley to destination. On this trip they passed through beautiful Pinehurst, Sand Hills, etc. They also visited friends at Moncure. This was Mrs. Beeker's fourth trip south. The family were accompanied by Miss Elizabeth Beeker, who after a pleasant stay here returned home. Mrs. Beeker waa formerly Laura Hubler.

14. Obituary: High Point Enterprise: George Beeker, Davidson Native, Dies In Virginia on 20 Jan 1960 in High Point, Guilford, NC. 2 LEXINGTON -- George Giles Beecker, 66, of Arlington, Va., died Monday in an Arlington hospital. He was a native of Davidson County.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Hubler Beeker; two sons, Wilson Beeker of Alexandria, Va.; and George Beeker, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one daughter, Rita Beeker of the home; five brothers, Elmo Beeker of Route 3, Lexington, Willie Beeker of Linwood, G. B. Beeker of Route 5, Lexington, Lloyd Beeker of Easton, Pa., and Woodrow Beeker of Burlington; four sisters, Mrs. J. C. Stegall and Mrs. Walter Everhardt, both of Welcome, Mrs. Marvin Lee of High Point and Mrs. Sidney Snider of Route 5, Lexington; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Ives Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.
