Smith North of the city, Miss Mary Beeker became the bridge of Mr. Prince Parris of Michigan. Only a few friends and relatives of the bride were present. Rev. A. C. Gibles, pastor of Walnut Street M. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Salem Methodist Church in Alamance County by the pastor the Rev. W. L. Crowell. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He was a veteran of World War I and moved here from Greensboro about 22 years ago. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Beeker of Greensboro; three daughters, Mrs. B.J. Casey of Auburn, N.Y., Mrs. Harold Morrison and Mrs. William L. Wilson of Southern Pines; three sons, Edwin H. of Houston, Tex., P. B. Jr. of Washington and James D. of Butner; one sister, Miss Lila Paris of Mooresville; one brother, Duke B. of Graham; and 14 grandchildren.
