Everyone and their parents were born in North Carolina. The parents were married for 26 years and Lunda had birthed 12 children, 9 alive in 1900.

Ashe St., died Thursday in Moore Memorial Hospital after a long illness. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today In Powell Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Saxapahaw. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. B. J. Causey of Auburn, N.Y., and Mrs. Harold Morrison and Mrs. William M. Wilson, both of Southern Pines; two sons, James E. Paris of Rockingham and Edwin H. Paris of Houston, Texas; and 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
