Mr. Beeker has seven children living, 44 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. A native of Silver Hills, Davidson county, he has spent his entire life in this state, except for a few years in in Illinois. Since 1900 he has been a resident of Greensboro. Mrs. Beeker, the former Miss Lunda Cornelison, died a year ago.
Children attending the reunion here were A. E. Beeker, with his family from Welcome; O. J. Beeker, with his family from Albemarle; Mrs. G. G. Campbell, of Danville, Va; Mrs. R. B. Stacy, with her family, Mrs. P. B. Paris, with her family, C. S. Beeker and J. F. Beeker and their families, of Greensboro.
Among the grandchildren here were Mr. and Mrs. R. N. Turner, of Albemarle; Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Beeker, Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Lucius, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Guilford Beeker, of Welcome.

17. Obituary: Greensboro Daily News: obituary of Dan Beeker on 9 May 1940 in Greensboro, Guilford, NC. ¹⁶ Dan Beeker, 87, died at 6:10 o'clock yesterday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. R. B. Stacey, who resides on Rankin street in the Rankin school section, north of the city.
Mr. Beeker was a native of Davidson county, but had been making his home in this community for the past 40 years. He was a member of the Eller Memorial Baptist church, Proximity. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Paris, Aberdeen; Mrs. Bessie Campbell, Moncure, and Mrs. Stacey; four sons, A. B. Beeker, Lexington; O. J. Beeker, Albemarle, and Carl and T. J. Beeker, Greensboro, and two brothers, John Beeker, Durham, and Charlie Beeker, Salisbury. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Newspaper: Greensboro Record: Dan Beeker Funeral Service is Conducted, 10 May 1940, Greensboro, Guilford, NC. ³³ Funeral service for Dan Beeker, 87, who died Wednesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. B. Stacy, of the Rankin community, was held at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon at Hanes chapel. The service was conducted by REv. C. E. Parker, pastor of Eller Memorial Baptist church. Rev. W. B. Cook, pastor of Sixteenth Street Baptist church, and Rev. W. A. Way, pastor of Edgeville Holiness church. Interment was in Green HIll cemetery.
