An Estimable Woman

Aged 69 and Devoted Member of Salem Lutheran Church

Suffering for quite a while with a complication of diseases, Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Embich, nee Beicher, wife of Henry W. Embich, of 121 North Eighth street, passed away at two o'clock on Sunday morning at the Embich home. She was born March 5, 1841, and was in her sixty-ninth year.

THOSE WHO SURVIVE

She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Mrs. John M. Kahley, and two grandchildren, Harry E. and Katherine E. Kahley. These brothers -- William Beicher, this city; Emanuel Beicher, Marion, Ohio, and George M. Beicher, Racine, Wis., and a sister, Mrs. Amelia Frescoln, of Reading.

WAS HIGHLY RESPECTED

Mrs. Embich was married to Mr. Embich on November 20, 1859. She was a member of Salem Ev. Lutheran church, was possessed of many excellent qualities and enjoyed the esteem of a large circle of friends.

FUNERAL ON WEDNESDAY

The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the residence with services in Salem church, and interment at Mt. Lebanon cemetery.
