Wilhelm Bicher was born into this world on the 25th of January, 1811, in the town and county of Libanon, Pennsylvania. He received the Sacred Baptism from the Reverend G. Lochman. His sponsors were his grandparents Jacob Bicher and his wife Maria Catharina. He also received the Holy Communion at the appropriate age. He entered the state of matrimony with Sussanna Meyli, in the year of 1831 on the 3rd of May.

This above described Sussanna is a daughter of Emanuel Meily and his wife Elissabeth, born Sped. She was born on the 3rd of October, 1812 in the County of Libanon, Pennsylvania, and received the Sacred Baptism from the Reverend G. Lochman. Her sponsors were her father and mother, and she also received the Holy Communion at the appropriate age. And she agreed to tie the nuptial knot with the above mentioned Wilhelm Bicher on the 3rd of May, 1831.

They begotten a child, namely, a son. He saw light of this world on the 17th of January, 1832 and received the Sacred Baptism from the Reverend W. Ernst in the course of which he baptized him Johnn Heinerich. The sponsor was his great-grandfather Jacob Bicher.

Once more they begotten a son. He saw the light of the world on the 11th of September, 1834, and received the Sacred Baptism from the Reverend W. G. Ernst in the course of which he gave him a name of Wilhelm. The sponsor was his grandfather Emanuel Meily.
