Helen was born on July 13, 1929, in Spring Grove, the only child of Ralph and Marie (Beecher) Myers.

She retired in 1989 after 24 1/2 years of service in the snack bar at the York Hospital. She was a member of Fourth United Methodist Church and the Western Democratic Club. Helen loved to cook for family and friends, especially her pies.

In addition to her husband, Helen is survived by two daughters, Carol F. Snyder, wife of David of York, and Kathy M. Frigm of York; two sons, James W. Frigm, III, husband of Susan of York, and Kenneth M. Frigm of York; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and family friend, Stephen Reese. "She will be deeply missed by her family , but always in their hearts."

Burial will be private in Trinity "Roth's" Church Cemetery.
