Parkton, Md. -- Murle R. Beeker, 53, a life-time resident here, died yesterday at 4 p.m. at the University hospital, Baltimore. He had been a patient at the hospital for a week and death followed an operation. Mr. Beeker is survived by his wife, Mrs. L. Christine Wood Beeker. Also surviving are two children, Murle E. Beeker, this place, and Nellie C. Beeker, Riderwood, Md. There are also two grandchildren and a brother, Jesse J. Beeker, Glen Rock. He was a track foreman of the Monkton crew of the Pennsylvania Railroad of which he had been an employe for the past 35 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance and Ways of the railroad. Rev. Charles Kinder, of Parke Memorial Methodist church, will officiate at services Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hartenstein mortuary, New Freedom. Interment will be in Pine Grove EUB cemetery. Rayville.

Parkton, Md. --Funeral services for Murle R. Beeker, husband of Mrs. L. Christine Wood Beeker, here, who died Monday at University hospital, Baltimore, were held yesterday at the Hartenstein mortuary, New Freedom. . Pallbearers were Clarence Spicer, Marshall Neeper, Millard Pearce, Herbert Smith, Myron Barton and Frank Stiffler. Rev. Charles Kinder, pastor of Parke Memorial Methodist church, officiated. Interment was in Pine Grove EUB cemetery, Rayville.
