Parkton, Md. -- Miss Doris Talmadge Sutton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Webster Sutton, and Pvt. John Donald Rosier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis C. Rosier, both of this place, were married Sept. 13 in Wiseburg Methodist church, at 8 p. m. The bride's pastor, Rev. Edwin G. Reter performed the ceremony. The bride wore a gray and blue checked suit made of German material with navy blue accessories and wore a corsage of white gardenias. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Miller. The matron of honor wore a pink dress with brown accessories and a corsage of pink rose buds. Pvt. Rosier has just returned home for a 30-day furlough after serving for 11 months in Italy.

Talmadge Sutton Beeker of Parkton, Md., died at 2:48 pm Friday in the St. Joseph Medical Center, Towson, Md. She was 70.
Mrs. Beeker was a member of the Wiseburg United Methodist Church, White Hall, Md., and a charter member of Parkton American Legion Post No. 256 Ladies Auxiliary.
Born in White Hall, Baltimore County, Md. on Dec. 5, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Webster and Mary Viola Smith Sutton.
She leaves her husband, Murle E. Beeker; two daughters, Sharon R. Wheeler, Parkton, and Laura C. Beeker, Manchester, Md.; two sons, Thomas M. Beeker, Parkton, and James J. Beeker, Bethesda, Md., and four grandchildren.
The viewing is from 7-9 pm today and 7-9 pm tomorrow at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, 24 Second St., New Freedom. The service is at 11 am Tuesday at the mortuary with her pastor, the Rev. Carroll M. Brown, officiating. Burial will be in the Middletown Cemetery.
