He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of St. John Church of Christ, Fraternal Order of Police and Cumberland Masonic Lodge. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, with calling from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery Mausoleum. He was the widower of Jacqueline Ann Marcy. Survivors son Jon D. Marcy; stepsons Steven A., Nick R., Timothy M. Pappas; brother Beauferd Marcy; sister Jane McGinley; three grandchildren; three step grandchildren.
