!ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Source-3 p. 30 Marie Booher lists Elcanah as "Al"; Source-4 The Overton Co. News runs an 80 Years Ago Today column and out of their archives for 05-10-2000 I found for May 6, 1915 to May 12, 1915 the following:

"L. Booher, who lived near Eagle Creek, was found dead last Saturday near his barn. He was engaged in shoeing a horse when last noticed by his family. Heart failure is believed to have been the cause. He was 65 years of age and leaves a wife and several grown children".

This is the Elcana "L" Booher who was my ggrandmother's brother. The real story, as told to me by mom, was that he was a very mean man and was trying to shoe the horse and was whipping it so hard he had a heart attack and died.

gave the information just didn't know anything about him. I sent for a death certificate for an El.
R. Booher that I found in the death index. I'm sure it's the same person because the date of death is 8 May 1915 and the cause of death is heart failure. His age is shown as 59 on the death certificate though. There is no parental information at all drat it all! But, it shows for place of ??
