DELPHI, Aug. 20. (Special) -- Mrs. George Gay, 69, of this city, died at 5:30 o clock this afternoon at the St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette. Mrs. Gay's husband died seventeen years ago. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Flossie Smith, of Delphi; a son, George Gay, Jr., at home; two sisters: Mrs. Cora Garrett, of Brookston; and Mrs. Macy Collier, of Lafayette; and three brothers: Clinton Sterrett, of White county; Kiley, of Lafayette; and Sumner, of Tippecanoe county. Funeral services in charge of the Grimm & Sons funeral home, will be conducted from the Delphi Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, the Rev. Harry B. Parker, officiating. Burial will be in Pretty Prairie cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church an hour before services.
