Mrs. Margaret VanNatta Baker died at the family residence, 534 South Ninth street, at 3:40 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Born at Montmorenci, Aug. 13, 1882, she was the daughter of Aaron and Emily VanNatta. Mrs. Baker suffered a stroke on Jan. 1 of this year and had been seriously ill since.
Graduated from the Lafayette high school in 1902, she was married to Dr. Ernest S. Baker that same year.
Surviving are the husband; one son, Ernest VanNatta Baker and one sister, Mrs. Henry W. Marshall, all of this city.
Mrs. Baker was a member of Trinity Methodist church of this city, and also a member of the official board of that church.
