Funeral services will be held this afternoon for Dr. Delbert Harrison Laird who was fatally stricken with a heart attack while he was riding in a taxicab at Van Buren street and Wabash avenue, Saturday afternoon. He was 39 years old and lived at 6159 South Menard avenue. Born in Otterbein, Ind., Dr. Laird graduated from the University of Chicago in 1909 and from Rush Medical college in 1911. The services will be held at 2:30 at the funeral chapel. 6153 West 63d street.

miss Clara Laird returned Sunday from Chicago where she attented the funeral of her nephew, Dr. D. H. Laird.

Delbert married Elizabeth Augusta "Bess" Watson, daughter of Thomas Henry Watson and Caroline Fredricka Bentz. (Elizabeth Augusta "Bess" Watson was born on 13 Jun 1884 in Chicago, Cook, IL ⁹ and died in Jan 1966.)
