Newspaper: Ephrata Review: Horst - Zimmerman Marriage, 17 May 1962, Ephrata, Lancaster, PA. ¹ HINKLETOWN -- Miss Marion Horst, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Horst of town, became the bride of Ernest Zimmerman, son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Zimmerman of Mechanlcsville, Md., at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. Warren S. Good of town, Saturday at 10:30. Mrs. Lloyd S. Martin of Reamstown, served as matron of honor and Lloyd L. Martin was best man. A reception followed at the home of the bride. After a wedding trip to Florida they will live in Maryland.

4. Obituary: Daily Item: obituary of Ernest Zimmerman on 20 Jan 1977 in Sunbury, Northumberland, PA. ⁴ MOUNT PLEASANT MILLS - Ernest B. Zimmerman, 35, Mount Pleasant Mills RD1, died at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in his home. Death was due to an internal hemorrhage following the chopping of wood. Mr. Zimmerman was born July 17, 1941, in Ephrata RD3, the son of John S. and Mary Bicher, Zimmerman, Mechanicsville, Md. In 1962 he was married to the former Marion Horst of Ephrata. He was a self-employed carpenter in the Ephrata area and later in Leonardtown, Md. In 1975 the couple moved to the Mount Pleasant Mills area where they farmed. Mr. Zimmerman was a member of Stauffer's Mennonite Church, Port Trevorton RD1. In addition to his widow and parents, he is survived by three sons, Andrew, Emest and Luther, and six daughters, Sheryl, Lucille, Annie, Rosemary, Bethe and Eileen, all at home; four brothers, Harold Zimmerman of Barron, Wis., Stanley Zimmerman of Leonardtown, Md., and Pheryl and Nathan Zimmerman, both of Mechanicsville, Md.; and three sisters, Luella and Evelyn, both of Mechanicsville, Md., and Bernice of Harrisburg. The funeral will be conducted at 9 a.m. Saturday in his home and will continue at 10 a.m. in the Stauffer's Mennonite Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the home on Friday. Funeral arrangements are by the Garman Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant Mills.
