Ollie, as she was known by family and friends, retired to Lewes, Delaware after working for the New Castle County Police Department. She was a loving wife to Edgar Leach (deceased) and Paul Rambo (deceased). With Paul, she was the secretary and bookkeeper for Rambo and Symonds Drywall. Her passion was art. She was an accomplished artist and loved to paint. She taught art at the Lewes Senior Center for many years after she retired. She also made posters for the Conrad High School Marching Band, Elsmere Fire Company, and the Boy Scouts. She was a Life Member of the Elsmere Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Olivia is survived by her two sons and their wives, Dave and Nancy Rambo of Elsmere and Rick and Dawn Rambo of San Diego; grandchildren, Paul and Samantha Rambo, Tracy Rambo, Michael and Martha Rambo, Steve and Jayme Rambo, Spencer Lank, and Chris Rambo; plus great-grandchildren, David, SammyJo, Travis, Angelica, Chloe, and Noah. Ollie was the oldest of eight children and is also survived by a brother Clifford Symonds and a sister Kay Popitti. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere, on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11 am. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home in Elsmere from 6 to 8 pm Thursday evening. Interment in Silverbrook Cemetery, Wilmington.

Olivia married Paul Pennick Rambo, son of Marshall Haines Rambo and Margaret Ann Sanderson, on 26 Oct 1941 in Stanton, New Castle, DE, USA.¹ (Paul Pennick Rambo was born on 11 Jul 1917 in Wilmington, New Castle, DE,⁴ died on 7 Dec 1962 in Wilmington, New Castle, DE ⁴ and was buried in Wilmington: Silverbrook Cemetery, New Castle, DE ⁴.)
