The Rev. George Myers Jr. united in marriage Miss V. Louise Klein, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis K. Klein, Stouchsburg, and Allen M. Bamberger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen R. Bamberger, 27 E. Main St., Myerstown. The wedding took place in the Christ United Lutheran Church of Stouchsburg on Saturday afternoon at three o'clock. The double ring ceremony was used. The bride was attired in a satin peau floor length gown fashioned with a scoop neckline and tapered sleeves, and adorned with Alencon lace and pearls.
Self-roses accented the sides and back of the bouffant skirt which ended in a chapel train. Her crown of pearls and crystals was attached to a bouffant veil of French silk illusion. She carried a bouquet of white roses. The bride was escorted by her father.

Mrs. Harold F. Werner, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Her blue floor length gown of silk organza was styled with a scoop neckline and cap sleeves. The empire waist was accented with a satin band. Panels of organza extended to the hem of the controlled skirt.
She wore a matching floral halo with a circular veil. Friends of the bride, Mrs. Neil Hoke, Mrs. Carol Rabold and Miss Margaret Onofrey, were the bridesmaids. They wore light blue gowns styled like that of the matron of honor.
Kim Blouch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Blouch, the flower girl, was gowned like the honor attendant. All the attendants carried bouquets of blue and white carnations. Best Man Harold F. Werner, brother-in-law of the bride, was the best man. The ushers were Roy A. Schaffer, Andrew Levendis, and Robert Ziegler, all friends the groom. Craig Stechman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stechman, was the ring bearer. Wedding music was provided by Mrs. Helen Brightbill, soloist, and Curtis Trautman, organist. The church was decorated with carnations. A reception was held for 350 guests at the American Legion Home in Myerstown.
After a honeymoon in Stone Harbor, N.J., the newlyweds will reside at Stouchsburg. The bride is a graduate Conrad Weiser High School and Bryland Institute of Beauty Culture, Reading. She is the proprietor of Louise Klein's Beauty Shoppe in Avon. The groom graduated from Myerstown High School and employed at Shelhammer's service station in Myerstown.

4. Obituary: Legacy.com Obituary of Allem M. "Bambi" Bamberger on 27 Apr 2012 in Myerstown, Lebanon, PA. 7 Allen M. "Bambi" Bamberger, 75, died suddenly Friday, April 27, 2012, at his residence. He was the husband of V. Louise Klein Bamberger, to whom he would have been married 48 years on August 22nd. Born in Myerstown on August 10, 1936, he was the son of the late Allen and Edna (Bicher) Bamberger. He had been employed at Bayer Corp., Myerstown, for 29 years, retiring in 1998. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Dona wife of John Dyer of Lansdale; son, Eric husband of Rebecca Bamberger of Enola; grandchildren, Olivia, Luke and Brock Dyer, Emily and Elizabeth Bamberger; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Bickel. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 1 p.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. There will be no viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Marie Carr Scholarship Fund" c/o St. Theresa School, 1200 Bridge St., New Cumberland, PA 17070.


Allen married Violet Louise Klein, daughter of Lewis Kenneth Klein and Eva Arline Schrope, on 22 Aug 1964 in Stouchsburg, Berks, PA.1 (Violet Louise Klein was born on 29 Feb 1944 in Reading, Berks, PA,8 9 died on 29 Aug 2022 in Glen Mills, Delaware, PA 8 9 and was buried in Myerstown: Union Cemetery, Lebanon, PA 8.)
