Florence, Italy \emdash The marriage of Miss Nancy Ann Palkovics of Winston-Salem North Carolina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Palkovics of Richmond, Virginia, to Holden Ward Long, son of Mr. Larry Long and Mrs. Carol Long, all of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, took place September 9, 1998, at Palazzo Vecchio. The Consulate Of Italy officiated. The bride was graduated from Elon College and is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi. She teaches first-grade in Davidson County, North Carolina. The groom is a graduate of Elon College and is a securities trader for H. W. Long Securities. After a honeymoon in Florence, Venice and Rome ,the couple will reside in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A reception will be held in honor of the couple when they return to the states.
