Johnson, 80, of Lompoc will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the DuPont Cemetery in DuPont, Ind. Mrs. Johnson was born October 13, 1904 in Landisville, Pa. and had lived in Lompoc for the past three years. A retired practical nurse, Mrs. Johnson died Tuesday at the Lompoc District Hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Alving of Lompoc; a son, Clair Hershey of Virginia; a brother, Irving Hershey of Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren. Local arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.

Olive Johnson Service Saturday
NORTH VERNON - Graveside service for Olive Johnson, 80, of Lompoc, Calif, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. David Rome at Dupont Cemetery. Calling hours at Dove and Sharp Funeral Home will be from 1 p.m. Saturday to service time. Mrs. Johnson died Tuesday in Santa Barbara County, Calif. She had been in failing health four years. A former resident of Route 6, she had lived in California since 1981. Born Oct. 13, 1904, in Pennsylvania, she was the widow of Frank Johnson, who died in January 1981. Survivors include one son, Clair R. Hershey of Annadale, Va.; one daughter, Nelda Alving, with whom she made her home in California, and four grandchildren.
