Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Reece, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Winberry, and Misses Mildred Reece and Ducie Swann were in Churchland, Davidson county, Tuesday afternoon to attend the funeral of Mrs. Alve E. Williams, who died Monday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock, at the home of her mother, Mrs. W. A. Beeker, in Churchland.
Mrs. Williams was a niece of Mr. J. B. Reece, and a first cousin of Mrs. Winberry and of Miss Mildred Reece. She was a sister of Miss Gladys Beeker, who was formerly a nurse at Long's Sanatorium here.

10. Obituary: Statesville Record and Landmark: Mrs. W. A. Beeker on 9 Jan 1941 in Statesville, Iredell, NC. 7 Mrs. W. A. Beeker, sister of Mr. J. B. Reece of this city, died Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. R. Hinton, in Green Sea, S. C. Mrs. Beeker, the former Miss Nannie Reece, was a daughter of the late A. R. and Carrie (Blaylock) Reece, and was born in Cool Springs township, Iredell county.
After her marriage nearly forty years ago, she lived for many years at Jerusalem, Davie county, and then fifteen years ago moved to Churchland, Davidson county, where she resided until the death of her husband. Since Mr. Beeker's death she had lived in Green Sea with her daughter.
Surviving Mrs. Beeker, in addition to Mrs. Hinton, are a son, Mr. Henry J. Beeker, teacher in the Wilson county school; two sisters, Miss Lilla Reece, of Cool Spring township, and Mrs. H. L. Swann, of the Mills Home, Thomasville; and three brothers, Messrs. W. F. and A. H. Reece, of Cool Spring, and Mr. J. B. Reece of this city.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Churchland, near Lexington. The service were conducted by Rev. J. Clyde Yates, pastor of the Kannapolis Baptist church. Interment was in Churchland cemetery. A number of relatives and friends from here attended the service.


Nannie married William Anderson Beeker, son of Henry J. Beeker and Eliza Jane Daniel, on 17 May 1900 in Cool Springs Township, Iredell, NC.1 2 (William Anderson Beeker was born on 4 Jul 1866 in Jerusalem, Davie, NC,17 18 19 died on 16 May 1932 in Tyro, Davidson, NC 18 19 and was buried on 17 May 1932 in Lexington: Pine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Davidson, NC 18 19.)
