Everyone and their parents were born in North Carolina. William and Nannie where married for 9 years and she had birthed 4 children by 1910, all alive that year. Eliza J. had birthed 3 children, all alive.

2. Census in 1920 in Boone Township, Davidson, NC. 2 The 1920 census recorded renting a home: William A. Beeker (indexed as Becker), head of dormitory, 53, living with wife Nannie H., laborer, 46; daughter Winnie G., 18; son Joseph R., 16; daughter Alda B., 13; and son Henry J., 9. Everyone and their parents were born in North Carolina.

3. Newspaper: Statesville Record and Landmark: Joseph Beeker Missing Since August, 17 Jan 1924, Statesville, Iredell, NC. 3 Joseph Beeker, 19-year-old son of Mr. W. A. Beeker, of Churchland, Davidson county, and nephew of Messrs. W. F. and J. B. Reece, of Statesville, has been missing since August and all efforts on the part of his family to trace him have been unsuccessful, his uncles made known here today. He disappeared about August 18 from Lexington where he had been employed over the summer in cotton mills.
His parents moved to Churchland five years ago from Jerusalem, Davie county, and their son was graduated from the Churchland High school this past spring. Money matters which he believed more serious than they really were caused him to run away, his parents think. He has red hair, is five feet and 10 inches tall, and weighs 140 pounds.
